Fifth Grade Art

Fifth Grade students receive art instruction once a week for 60

minutes.

 

Art engagements we explored this year include:

     Painting - Tempera Patterned Landscape

     Design - Colored Pencil Color Wheel Name

                - Radial Design Folded Paper

     Printmaking - Explorer Ships

     Collage - Pop Art Goldfish Collage (Roy Lichtenstein)             

     Clay - Glazed Ceramic Name

     Weaving - Burlap, yarn, ribbon & beads

     Sculpture - Freestanding Wood Animal Sculptures (Terrell Powell)

 

Students will build upon previous art knowledge and personal experiences combined with new techniques to advance their skills.
